Recognizing problem of insufficient participation of women and youth in decision making, the Association of visually impaired citizens of Tuzla launched the project in order to change situation for better. The project lasted from october 2025 to the end of May 2026 and included conducting of research about needs and interests of visually impaired women and youth, educational workshops for women and youth and meeting in the nature as final activity. Questionnaires were used for research whic included 30 women and 12 youth from 18 to 30 years. Interests are little bit different. While youth show more interests for employment and sports activities, women are for psychological and creative workshops.

Research is available in Braille and standard print. Women and youth had opportunity to inform about Statute of the Association. Men participated on workshop for women with the topic of Statute. They discused about challenges how to motivate more members to participate on election Assembly. Topics of other workshops for women were managing by its own finances and gender equality and for youth possibilities which offers Institution for professional rehabilitation and employment of persons with disability in the Federation of BiH. The Association expressed readyness to offer help to youth interested in program.
