Braille letter use blind persons all over the world more than two hundred years. The day of birth of Lous Braille, its inventor January fourth is celebrated as the World Braille letter day which development of technology could not suppress completely.

The Association of visually impaired citizens of Tuzla celebrated it in the House of literature by discussion of present status and the future of letter for the blind and reading texts in Braille. Bad weather prevented many who wanted to participate.

Snow did not prevent small but diligent group who consider this day important to pay deserved attention.

They pointed out that there is no enough literature in Braille.

Activists ar aware of different jurisdictions. However, there are things which they can do as Association. They paed attention to Braille letter promotion.

 Competitions in Braille letter reading for children and adults will bi organized again.

They will enable its members who want to learn how to read and write in Braille. It is important to get information about Braille letter benefits. These activities will contribute decreasing illiteracy among blind persons. This process demand time.

It is expected that they will achieve results till the following World Braille letter day.
